Gold autoloading Shotguns

Clean lines and superb between-the-hands balance have created a beautiful, fine handling shotgun, but the Gold's real beauty lies within. Its unique, self-regulating gas system allows you to shoot all loads interchangeably — from 1 1/8 oz. 2 3/4" field loads to the heaviest 3" and 3 1/2" magnums (depending on chambering). With lighter loads, most of the energy of expanding gases is used to operate the action. With magnum loads, excess gas is vented out the lateral vents in the piston, substantially reducing felt recoil over inertia- or recoil-operated systems. The Gold is also the only autoloader available with speed loading — with the action open, any load inserted into the magazine is sent directly to the chamber, ready to be fired.

GOLD STANDARD FEATURES

Action:

In the 12 gauge 3" chambering, the Gold’s self-regulating gas system shoots all loads interchangeably — from 1 oz. light
2 3/4" target loads to the heaviest 3" magnums. The larger 3 1/2" chambered version is built to handle a similar range —
1 1/8 oz. field loads to hard-hitting 3 1/2" magnums. With lighter loads, the unique gas system in these guns utilizes most of the energy of expanding gases to operate the action. With magnum loads, excess gas is vented out the lateral vents in the piston. The Gold has a gas valve on the inside of the gas piston. Because the gas piston and valve operate independently, less pressure is exerted on the piston resulting in greater longevity and more efficient operation than other gas-operated autoloaders. Additionally, the extremely short piston stroke of the Gold limits the amount of combustion gas that gets into the receiver. The shooter benefits from cleaner operation.
Choke Tubes:
All Gold shotguns include full, modified and improved cylinder tubes. Sporting Clays models include modified, improved cylinder and skeet tubes. 24" barrel models include an extra-full turkey tube.
Magazine Adapter:
Included. Limits magazine capacity to two.
Magazine Capacity:
2 3/4": 4 in magazine, one in chamber. 3": 3 in magazine, one in chamber.
3 1/2": 3 in magazine, one in chamber (3 1/2" model only).

Magazine Cut-off:

All Gold 3 1/2" and Gold Classic shotguns utilize a magazine
cut-off allowing the shooter to retain shells in the magazine and eject a round from the chamber without feeding from the magazine.

Recoil Pads:
Hunter and Stalker: Standard vented, Deer Hunter: Extra thick vented, Sporting Clays: Radiused, solid recoil pad.
Rib:
Solid ventilated rib with matte sighting plane, tapered on Sporting Clays.
Safety:
The oversized, cross-bolt safety is mounted on the trigger guard allowing quick operation while keeping an eye on the target, and it’s easily reversed by a gunsmith for
left-hand use.

Sights:

24" barrel Stalker and Camo models come with Hi-Viz™ fiber optic sights. All Gold Sporting Clays shotguns feature the Hi-Viz™ Pro-Comp sight system. This system consists of eight different interchangeable colored light pipes so the bead can be adjusted to match varied light conditions or shooting styles.

Stock:
Gloss-finished walnut on Hunter models, satin-finished select walnut on Sporting Clays. Camouflage and Stalker models utilize composite stocks and forearms. Subtle palm swell. Cut checkering.
